Reporting Period: 2025

Our Commitment

At Bare Home, we recognize the importance of conducting business responsibly and working with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical business practices.

We are committed to strengthening our due diligence processes and improving visibility throughout our supply chain to help identify and reduce the risk of forced labor, child labor, modern slavery, and human trafficking.

This Modern Slavery & Supply Chain Transparency Statement describes Bare Home's responsible sourcing program and the steps taken by JP E Commerce LLC (dba Bare Home) during the 2025 reporting period to identify and reduce the risk of forced labor, child labor, modern slavery, and human trafficking within our business and global supply chain.

This statement is published to support Bare Home's transparency obligations under applicable laws, including Canada's Fighting Against Forced Labor and Child Labor in Supply Chains Act, the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, where applicable, and the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act.

Our Business

Bare Home is a U.S.-based designer, importer, and retailer of bedding and home essentials.

Our products are sourced through a global network of manufacturing partners and sold primarily through e-commerce and retail channels.

Our Supply Chain

Bare Home currently sources finished goods from approximately fourteen primary Tier 1 suppliers located in:

  • China

  • India

  • Pakistan

  • Turkey

Many of our suppliers are vertically integrated and perform multiple stages of manufacturing within their own facilities.

While our greatest visibility is at the Tier 1 supplier level, we continue to strengthen oversight throughout our supply chain.

Supplier Expectations

Before becoming an approved supplier, prospective manufacturers undergo a qualification process that includes review of:

  • Manufacturing capabilities

  • Factory information

  • Quality management systems

  • Social compliance documentation

  • Supplier self-assessments

  • Applicable certifications

Suppliers are also required to acknowledge Bare Home's Supplier Code of Conduct, inspection requirements, and compliance expectations.

Where appropriate, suppliers may be asked to provide corrective action plans to address findings identified through third-party social compliance audits.

Due Diligence

Bare Home maintains several processes to support responsible sourcing, including:

  • Supplier qualification and onboarding

  • Review of supplier self-assessment questionnaires

  • Review of third-party social compliance audits

  • Third-party inspection requirements

  • Ongoing supplier evaluation

  • Review of corrective action plans, where applicable

Suppliers are expected to maintain current social compliance audits throughout the business relationship.

Assessing Risk

The global textile industry presents inherent risks relating to forced labor and child labor.

To help manage these risks, Bare Home:

  • Reviews supplier social compliance documentation

  • Requests country-of-origin information for selected raw materials where elevated risks have been identified

  • Prioritizes vertically integrated suppliers to improve supply chain visibility

  • Requires disclosure of manufacturing locations and approval of new production facilities

  • Reviews third-party social compliance audits, including WRAP, BSCI, Sedex, or SMETA audits, where applicable

Employee Training

Employees involved in sourcing and procurement receive training related to responsible sourcing, including:

  • Identification of forced labor and child labor risk indicators

  • Review of third-party audit reports

  • Internal compliance and inspection processes

  • Applicable regulatory requirements

Measuring Effectiveness

Bare Home periodically reviews its responsible sourcing program through supplier due diligence and compliance activities.

During the 2025 reporting period:

  • Active suppliers maintained current third-party social compliance audits.

  • Supplier compliance documentation was reviewed during onboarding and when new manufacturing locations were introduced.

  • Supplier Self-Assessment Questionnaires formed part of our due diligence process.

  • No confirmed instances of forced labor or child labor were identified through supplier audits, assessments, or other due diligence activities.

Continuous Improvement

Bare Home continues to strengthen its responsible sourcing program by:
