What is Covered?

This warranty protects against defects in material and workmanship, specifically:

  • Visible Indentations: Sagging or indentations greater than one inch (1.0") that are not the result of an improper foundation.

  • Physical Flaws: Any degradation of the foam causing it to split or crack despite normal handling.

  • Manufacturing Defects: Issues with the assembly of the mattress cover.

What is NOT Covered?

  • Cover Removal: Removing the mattress cover or law tags voids this warranty.

  • Softness: A normal increase in the softness of the foam over time.

  • Comfort Preference: Personal changes in mattress preference (firmness, feel, etc.).

  • Abuse: Damage including burns, cuts, liquid stains, or tears.

  • Improper Support: Damage caused by using an unsupportive bed frame or base.

  • "As-Is" Purchases: Mattresses sold as used, reconditioned, or returned.

Warranty Remedy Schedule

If a covered defect is confirmed, Bare Home will provide a remedy based on the age of your mattress:

Years Since Purchase Remedy Provided
0 – 5 Years Full Replacement: Mattress replaced with a brand new model at no charge.
5 – 7 Years 60% Credit: A replacement or gift card valued at 60% of the original purchase price.
8 – 10 Years 20% Credit: A replacement or gift card valued at 20% of the original purchase price.

Your Responsibilities

To maintain warranty eligibility, you must:

  1. Use Proper Support: Use the mattress on a firm, solid-surface bed base capable of supporting the weight of the mattress and its users.

  2. Retain Proof: Keep your original receipt; it is the only acceptable proof of purchase.

  3. Submit Evidence: Upon request, provide photo evidence of the defect or return the mattress/cover to Bare Home.

Legal & Arbitration

  • Arbitration: Any disputes arising from this warranty will be settled via binding arbitration in Minnesota in accordance with the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

  • Governing Law: This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.

  • Liability: Bare Home’s total liability will not exceed the purchase price paid for the mattress.
