100-Night Sleep Trial

We are confident you'll love your new Bare Home mattress. To give you peace of mind, we offer a 100-Night Sleep Trial. Try it in the comfort of your own home, and if it’s not the perfect fit, we’ll work with you to make it right.

How the Trial Works

Milestone Action
Day 1 Your 100-night trial begins the day your mattress is delivered.
Days 1–30 The Adjustment Period. It takes time for your body to adapt to a new sleep surface. Returns for opened mattresses cannot be initiated during this first 30-day window.
Day 31–100 If you aren't satisfied, you may initiate a return or a one-time exchange.
Day 101+ The sleep trial expires and the mattress is covered by our [10-Year Warranty].

Eligibility & Requirements

To ensure a successful return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

  • Location: The mattress must be physically located within the contiguous (48-state) United States.

  • Opening Window: Mattresses must be opened within 14 days of delivery. Mattresses left in the box longer than 14 days are considered misused and are ineligible for returns or warranty claims.

  • Condition: The mattress must be in sanitary condition—free of rips, stains, bed bugs, mold, or environmental damage.

  • Support: The mattress must have been used on a proper firm, solid-surface base or frame.

  • Frequency: Limit of one (1) mattress return or exchange per household.


The Return Process

We strive for sustainability. When you initiate a return, we don't want the mattress in a landfill; we prefer to give back.

  1. Initiation: Contact Customer Care to begin the Mattress Return Request.

  2. Documentation: You will be asked to provide specific photos and information. You have 30 days to submit these, or the request will be canceled.

  3. Donation: We will help coordinate a pickup with one of our Donation Partners.

    • Note: Our Donation Partners have the final right of refusal based on mattress condition. If they determine the mattress is ineligible for donation due to damage or unsanitary conditions, the return will be denied.


Refund Details

Once the return is approved and retrieval is confirmed:

  • Form of Payment: Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

  • What is Refunded: The full purchase price plus sales tax.

  • What is NOT Refunded: Original shipping fees, third-party warranty fees (e.g., Extend), or state-mandated recycling fees.

  • Promotional Items: If you received free gifts with your mattress, you may keep, donate, or dispose of them. Their value will not be refunded or credited.


Exchanges & Cancellations

  • Exchanges: Aside from warranty claims, exchanges are treated as a return of the first mattress and a new order for the second.

  • Cancellations: You may cancel your order at any time prior to processing. Once you receive a tracking number, the order must be handled as a return.
